On 3rd November 2023 Ann passed away surrounded by her loved ones after a battle with metastatic breast cancer. We are all truly devastated by the sudden loss of such a special woman and her irreplaceable presence is already deeply missed.

She touched many people over the years and we welcome anyone who loved Ann to join us in celebrating her life. Details of the funeral can be found in the 'Funeral Notice' section. Close family will be forming a small procession to the Crematorium but we please ask everyone else to make your own way up there to get parked for prompt commencement of the service. We will be raising a glass to Ann after the funeral at Heckmondwike Sports Club WF16 9ED. 

We ask if you can wear a touch of pink (Ann's favourite colour) on the day if possible (scarf, pocket square, any kind of accessory).

In the final days of Ann's life the team at The Kirkwood were our heroes. They went above and beyond in every way for Ann and the rest of the family. We must ensure that end of life care teams such as Kirkwood can continue to provide the outstanding level of care they do so compassionately. For this reason, we kindly ask you to bring donations for The Kirkwood instead of flowers. Alternatively, there are donation links on the tribute page for both Cancer Research UK and The Kirkwood.
